HUK Performance Fishing, an outdoor apparel brand, wanted to attract attention in a saturated market. They needed a way to generate conversation around their brand. IRIO was happy to help!

02 Solution

Powered by our SMS Sweepstakes solution, HUK launched a promotion to give away a Nitro Z9 fishing boat used by pro angler Kevin VanDam.

To enter, people were asked to text in “HUK”, and in return received a link to a branded microsite to complete their entry. It was that simple.

03 Results

HUK generated more than 274,000 entries into their sweepstakes over a 10-month period.30,000 new people were engaging with their brand every month. On top of that, more than 25,000 people subscribed to receive SMS/MMS promotions from HUK, giving them a large new batch of qualified leads to market to. They were also able to use insights from the entry and subscription data to better target future marketing campaigns
